Alexis Elizabeth is a wigmaker with decades of expertise in custom wigs for film, theater, celebrity, and private clients. She is a current member of the Grammy Award-winning artist, Beyoncé’s glam team, and was on the wig team for the Tony Award-winning play, Jaja’s African Hair Braiding.
Notable work includes collaborations with Tony Award-winning wig designer Nikiya Mathis, contributions to network productions on CBS and HBO, partnerships with an array of celebrity stylists, and wig design in association with Sony Pictures and Marvel.
Specializing in realistic designs, Alexis combines advanced techniques in wig construction with a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion. She has built a strong reputation for translating client needs into unique, high-quality wigs and has successfully mentored hundreds of students through her educational programs.
As the owner of a veteran-owned small business, her experience includes managing both in-person and virtual, client-focused projects, ensuring seamless communication, thoughtful execution, and timely delivery.
